Read the following passage than, answer the question
Prayer is the only pillar of Islam which is obligatory in all conditions. No one is exempted from performing it as long as he lives. A sick Muslim, who cannot stand up or kneel, can perform his prayers sitting. If he cannot get up, he can pray lying. Even in the battlefield, soldiers must perform their prayers .
Muslims must pray five times a day. When a Muslim is praying, he stands before Allah and directly addresses Him.This is the reason why a Muslim's body and clothes must be clean. The place where the prayer is performed must also be pure and clean .
